Plain, classic, high quality leather horse reins featuring a removable leather loop handle. These are an excellent choice for riders that may struggle to grip the reins and need that bit of extra control.

The Balanced Support Reins Loop Handle option are a patented horse rein set with a second elastic support rein, designed to be kind to horses and ponies, promoting confidence, balance and extra control for very young children or riders with a weak grip.

To help you find the right size please refer to the guide and select the height and breed / type of your pony.

Note:

There is room on all Half Rubber reins to add an extra buckle hole giving an extra inch in maximum length.

Plain leather reins have extra room for adjustment in maximum length as they are not restricted by the rubber.

Please note, horse reins sizings are approximate but fairly accurate. If you are not sure, please contact us before ordering, via email, phone or social media.

We are happy to exchange unused horse rein sets if the size is not right for you or the pony.

 

Before use: Apply Suitable leather dressing to the leather with a brush or sponge and leave to dry naturally at room temperature.

Keep clean and moisturised, wipe off any build up of dirt and sweat then condition with leather balm or cream.

A pair of leather D Ring replacers are also available should your saddle not have a D ring.

Absolutely game changer

My daughter is 4 . I cannot recommend those Reins enough. They are really invaluable to teach you g children where hands should stay. Anna can focus on her position and kind stirring. The fact she can’t loose the reins means hands are Always in the correct place and less likely to loose balance back or for. I set the loops quite generously so the reins remain soft with a slight loop. To any mum, if your child is starting riding whatever age, just buy them

Fantastic Reins!!

Fantastic reins, absolutely love the loop handles, they gave my granddaughter the chance of learning rising trot, on her Shetland, at her lessons without having to worry about her reins. They are well worth every penny!!

So much confidence

These reins are fantastic, we use them with the loop handles. My now 6yr old has used them since she was 3yrs old and she has such a steady hand, she hacks out with me at all speeds and terrain and she has so much confidence in them.
